Anthea O’Connor, Personal Stylist

Anthea is the former Melbourne Editor of Vogue Australia, a role that saw her write, style and produce fashion and lifestyle stories for over ten years for the prestigious fashion magazine from 2000 until 2010.

Now working as a fashion stylist, Anthea works with private clients on their personal style and wardrobes, sharing her well edited fashion eye and experience with clients to curate their own sense of style. Anthea also continues to host “How To Wear” styling video content, in person styling workshops and seasonal launch events for fashion and retail clients including Trenery, Country Road,  David Jones, Westfield and Myer as well as commercial styling work for Harris Scarfe and the Commonry.

Anthea’s interest in personal styling began when she was co-host of the Australian version of What Not To Wear on Channel 7, which saw her transform and update women’s personal style on the national television show. She went on to appear as a fashion presenter on Network Ten’s The Circle in 2011 and 2012,  where she talked all things fashion each week in addition to co-hosting the morning show.

And after being asked by everyone she knows for her travel tips and recommendations, she has launched her City Guides on her website (antheaoconnor.com) where she shares her insiders-guide to her favourite destinations. Get the skinny on where to go, where to eat, what to do and where to shop in her super detailed City Guide series. First up are her guides to Los Angeles, New York and Mykonos. Many (many) more are on the cards now we are travelling again. www.antheaoconnor.com,  IG @thefashionedit
